Following the submission of applications for the 2026 recruitment, the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) has released the schedule for screening which is set to commence from Wednesday 19th August to Friday 21st August, 2026.
According to the offcial circular released, the screening exercise will be simultaneously conducted across the 37 Federal Road Safety Commission Sector Commands. Shortlisted candidates are to attend exercise in the State the selected for screening during the application.
The screening is an important stage in the recruitment process. Shortlisted applicants are advised to attend the screening at their designated venues and come along with the required documents.

FRSC Recruitment Screening 2026 Schedule
Below is the snapshot of the screening schedule date which include the arrival of screening teams from Headquarters, the exercise and the departure of the teams.

The screening exercise will last for three (3) days which will cover all the cadres in the recruitment.
FRSC Screening Will Hold in 37 Sector Commands
An important factor shortlisted should know is that the screening exercise will be conducted simultaneously at all the 37 Sector Commands.
Applicants need not to travel to their state’s of origin the for the exercise. They will be screened at the venue in the State they selected during submission of their applications.
For example, if an applicant state of origin is Kaduna State but selected other state as his/her screening state that applicants shall attend his screening at the selected state.
Categories of Applicants
The screening exercise is scheduled based on the cadres of the applicants, each cadre was allocated a date for their screening.
Officer Cadre
This cadre comprises applicants with Bachelor’s degree and HND Qualifications and they will attend their screening on their scheduled date only.
Inspectorate Cadre
NCE and National Diploma candidates fall under this category and their screening schedule is Thursday 20th August, 2026 according to the official timetable.
3. Road Marshal Assistant (RMA) Cadre
This cadre is for SSCE and Trade Certificates and they are to appear for their screening exercise on Friday 21st August, 2026.
Important Information for Drivers, Riders and Articulated Vehicle Drivers
The screening team has been instructed to identify applicants who applied as Drivers, Riders and Articulated vehicle drivers during the exercise. Candidates who applied under these categories are to appear with evidence of the specialization.
Artisans and Skilled Trades Applicants
Candidates who applied as artisans must attend the screening with trade certificate of their respective skill they applied for.
