This is to inform Secondary school leavers who are interested in the Nigeria Police Academy (POLAC), Wudil, Kano State that sale of an online application forms into 13th Regular Course Degree Programmes 2026/2027 academic session has commenced. Admission is open to both qualified male and female Nigerians who satisfy all academic, physical, medical and character requirements.

The Nigeria Police Academy is one of the most prestigious federal degree awarding institutions in Nigeria, combining university education with professional police training. By the end of the academic study, graduates will acquire Bachelor’s degree certificate and will be commissioned into the Nigeria Police Force as Assistant Superintendent of Police II (ASP II).

Nigeria Police Academy Admission Portal Opening and Closing Date

The online application portal will run for six (6) weeks beginning for 3rd June to 15th July, 2026. Applicants are advised to purchase their online application form before the official closing date.

Nigeria Police Academy Admission Requirements 2026

Prospective applicants for admission into POLAC 13RC must meet the following qualifications and requirements:

  • Applicants must be a Nigerian by birth.
  • Must have a valid National Identity Number (NIN).
  • Sat for 2026 JAMB UTME and score a minimum of 180 marks
  • Must have chosen Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil as first choice institution during JAMB registration.
  • Must possess a minimum of six (6) credit passes in WAEC, NECO or equivalent in not more than two sittings. English Language and Mathematics are compulsory.
  • Must be between the age of 16 and 21 years on or before 31st October, 2026.
  • Must be medically, mentally and physically fit.
  • Minimum height requirement:
    • Male: 1.67 metres
    • Female: 1.64 metres
  • Male applicants must have an expanded chest measurement of at least 86cm (34 inches).

Nigeria Police Academy will not recognize or accept SSCE statement of results or certificate obtained before 2023.

How to Apply for Nigeria Police Academy Admission 2026

Interested applicants are advised to visit the official Nigeria Police Academy admission portal at www.admission.polac.edu.ng

Polac Wudil Admission Portal:

Applicants are required to obtain or generate a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) code from the portal. The RRR is used to make payment of a non-refundable application fee of Six Thousand Naira (₦6,000.00) only. This fee includes ₦2,000 for the POST-UTME examination.

Payment can be made through any commercial bank branch in Nigeria. Upon successful payment, applicants will be allowed to complete the online application form.

Applicants are also required to upload scanned copies of their SSCE result, Birth Certificate or Declaration of Age and Certificate of Origin. After completing the application, candidates must print their completed online form and guarantor form and present them at the Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil, during the aptitude test.

You should prepare the following documents which are to be uploaded to the POLAC Portal:

  • O’level results. i.e WAEC, NECO or equivalent result.
  • Birth Certificate or Declaration of Age.

When Invited for physical screening, you will come along with the original and photocopies of the following documents:

Nigeria Police Academy Aptitude Test (CBT)

Shortlisted applicants will be invited for the Computer Based Test (CBT) at the Nigeria Police Academy ICT Centre, Wudil, Kano State.

The CBT examination date will announce through the application portal. You are advised to monitor the portal regularly for latest information regarding the admission process.

Candidates who passed the examination will proceed to the next stage of the admission.

Automated Physical Screening Exercise

Candidates who qualify after the CBT will be invited for the Automated Physical Screening Exercise.
