The Federal Government of Nigeria through the National Social Investment Programme Agency (NSIPA) has officially launched the Renewed Hope Vocational and Skills Training Programme (VSTP). This program will provide participants with vocational training and technical skills to encourage hand work and trades that will promote entrepreneurship, self employment and reduce the rate of unemployment across the country.
After completion of the training, successful candidates will receive certification and starter packs based on the skills and trade they leaned to start working independently.

About National Social Investment Programme Agency (NSIPA)
The National Social Investment Programme Agency is Nigeria’s institution operating under the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development. What you Should Know About Renewed Hope VSTP
Renewed Hope Vocational and Skills Training Programme (VSTP) is created with the aim to equip youths across Nigeria with technical and vocational training and skills, empowerment, create employment opportunities to help them to become self reliant and contribute to the Nigeria’s economic growth.
VSTP-2026-B1
VSTP-2026-B1 means Renewed Hope Vocational and Skills Training Programme 2026 Batch 1. Applicants should try and register as soon as possible to be part of this batch as when the number of of required candidates reached for, you will be moved to Batch 2 of the program.
VSTP Application Journey

1. Register
- The first stage is creating your application account using your personal information such as names, address, phone number, email address, NIN, BVN…etc. You will be required to verify your email via OTP.
- Complete your registration by supplying the necessary information needed and also upload documents such as passport, NIN slip and education credentials.
2. Get Approved
Applications will be reviewed and candidates who meet the requirements of the program will receive approval notification for either aptitude test or screening.
3. Train
- Selected candidates will be assigned to a training center where they will receive their training and they are expected to attend their training regularly, engage in all activities and assignment.
- Your attendance will be appearing on your dashboard via the portal.
4. Graduate
After successfully finishing the program and training, trainees will receive their certificates and starter toolkit.

Who Can Apply for for this Programme
Applications are invited from interested applicants from Nigerians who meet the following eligibility and requirements:
- Be a Nigerian citizen with a valid National Identification Number (NIN).
- Possess a minimum of Secondary School Certificate.
- You are to have a valid Bank Verification Number (BVN).
- Active email address and phone number.
- Have a willingness to attend and participate in the physical vocational training. Ghost participants will be expelled.

Is it Necessary to Complete the Surveys on the Application Portal?
Surveys (Pre-Training and Post-Training assessments) are very important for your registration and completion of the programme. Try and complete them without delay.
Can I edit my details after registration?
Some details such as names and contact can be updated from your profile but sensitive fields (BVN, NIN, trade, location) will not be allowed to be edited after submitting your registration.
