Shehu Idris College of Health Sciences and Technology, Makarfi has officially announced the commencement of online applications for admission into its 2026/2027 Academic Session. The College invites suitably qualified candidates and members of the general public to apply for admission into its Higher National Diploma (HND), National Diploma (ND) and Diploma programmes under various accredited departments.
The management of the College has confirmed that the sale of application forms will begin on Tuesday 9th June, 2026 and close on Friday 7th August, 2026. Interested candidates are advised to apply within this period, as late applications may not be considered.

Admission Requirements
- Prospective applicants seeking admission into National Diploma programmes must possess a minimum of five (5) relevant O’Level credit passes in basic science subjects. These subjects include English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics, obtained from SSCE, WAEC, NECO or other recognized examination bodies, in not more than two (2) sittings.
- All ND applicants must have sat for the 2026 JAMB UTME and chosen Shehu Idris College of Health Sciences and Technology, Makarfi as their preferred institution.
Special considerations apply as follows:
- Applicants for HND Social Development, ND Social Development and ND Psycho-Social Rehabilitation may apply with either Science or Arts subjects.
- Applicants into all Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes must possess a National Diploma from an Accredited Health Institution, have valid JAMB admission and meet the minimum O’Level entry requirements for National Diploma programmes.

- Click on “Apply Now” to create an account and make payment.
- Select “Proceed with Payment” to generate your payment details.
- Click “Pay via Interswitch” at the top of the page and complete your payment.
- After successful payment, proceed to complete the application form online.
- Print the completed application form and acknowledgement slip for reference.
